A basically self taught artist, Wayne left behind his electrical trade to pursue a career in art. Now around twenty five years on, he has held more than five hundred one man ‘sold out’ travelling art shows, and is a great supporter of charitable organizations including Regional Hospitals, Rural Fire Brigades, SES, Cancer council, Guide Dogs, Heart Foundation and in particular RACQ Careflight Rescue, raising hundreds of thousands of dollars.Wayne brings his art to the people and creates his work live on site for all to see, capturing his memories of his travels on canvas, reflecting our times and the world in which we live.
